And if you find yourself on a shopping spree though downtown Frankfurt, make sure to take some rest in one of the many streetside cafés - it´s the perfect way to take in the charm of the city, particularly on a warm summer´s day. Frankfurt´s local beverage of preference, also known as "Ebbelwei" or "Stöffche", is as much a part of Old Sachsenhausen as is "Frau Rauscher", one of Frankfurt´s most-loved personalities, who has gained quite a reputation for giving patrons a spray-down with the garden hose during hot spells, among other things.
