Frankfurt-Hahn Airport also known as Fraport AG is a public airport situated in the Rhein-Hunsruck district in central Germany.
Due to its remote location the airport charges less to its airport operators which has made it popular with low cost carriers such as Ryanair which uses the airport as its center.
Most of the flights operating from the airport are international ones although the airport does not use international as part of its name.
The facilities provided by the airport include a help desk, lost property office, 2 banks, ATMs, duty free shops, gift shops, restaurants, cafes, business facilities like conference center with internet access, disabled facilities and more.
The airport does not have a direct railway connection but is easily accessible via bus to the nearest railway stations of Koblenz and Mainz.
The airport is accessible by road and has a car rental and parking facility available.
