Sachsenhausen is a part of the Frankfurt city in Germany. It is composed of two districts, Sachsenhausen-Nord and Sachsenhausen-Sud. This neighborhood was founded as bridgehead of Frankfurt in the 12th century. The population of this neighborhood is around 55,422 people. Moreover, this neighborhood is known for its lively nightlife of more than two dozen bars, restaurants and taverns in the south side of the old town. The main street of Sachsenhausen is known locally as Schweizer Straße, which is a cosmopolitan boulevard with bars and cider houses.
