When to visit
Hesse is a beautiful place in Germany worth of a visit for its huge scenic diversity other than the health spas, medieval towns, leisure activities and rolling hills. Also known as Hessen, it is popular for its financial metropolis of Europe, Frankfurt and also for its airport, Rhein-Main, the largest airport in Germany. Known to be one of the most picturesque destinations in Germany, Hesse offers infinite attractions year round. Though the summer season is the best time to visit this place, this can also be a busy time with festivals, fully booked hotels and crowded attractions. So, for those who would like to be in a quiet place, he or she can visit when the place is not crowded, most probably in the months of April and May or the autumn months of September and October. However, the months of June, July and August are also the peak season.
