The museum was opened in 1982 and covers an area of 250 m square. The museum has the ability to take visitors back in time. It showcases the past life and everyday life style of the people who use to live in the region. The culture of the Waldeck Upland has been covered by the museum through the various exhibits. Demonstrations include milk processing village school etc.
