Hannover Airport is also called as Langenhagen Airport which got its name from the nearby town of Langenhagen. This airport is located around 11 kilometers to the north of the Hannover center. This airport is also the ninth largest airport in Germany. Opened in 1952, this airport is one of the few German airports which are open for 24 hours a day, having few flights between 1100 to 0400 hours.
