Let’s have fun
Dance your feet off until day is dawning – let’s have fun! In the
evening, you can paint the pub, disco and bar scene red. Whether alone, as a
couple or together with a group – you will find that where evening entertainment
is concerned, Hannover is the city of a thousand possibilities.
The highest disco density in Hannover is to be found in the area around the
Central Station. Whether you are into Latin, soul, hip-hop or waltzing, the
DJs all around Raschplatz know exactly how to bring their clientele to the boil.
People in Hannover are only too happy to queue up to get into the “Baggi”
on Raschplatz, where on Wednesdays there is free admission for anyone over 30.
The funkiest sound in the city is to found in the “Palo Palo” next
door. The “Zaza” with its high flirt factor is a meeting place of
young people out to celebrate, while the chic in-crowd meet in the Acanto a
little further away. To warm up, night owls flock to the bars, for example heimW,
PrinzS or the Spandau.
New and particularly trendy are the clubs in the red-light district. In recent
times, Steintor has developed into a new meeting place of the scene. Still as
“in” as ever – as it has been for five decades – is
the Old Town with its cosy pubs. This is just the place for a good chin-wag
over a nice cool beer: a place where friendships are made, some of which last
a lifetime.
