Hannover Packing List

Before leaving home, be sure to have packed necessary documents like passport, tickets and medical insurance. Carry travellers cheques in small amounts as they are easier to cash.

Carry light luggage as hotels are far from stations and as parking is restricted near places of accommodation walking is unavoidable at times.

Carry light and comfortable clothing for cold and hot weather as the weather here is unpredictable.

Carry waterproof footwear and raingear as it rains frequently. High heel shoes are not recommended as there are cobbled alleys in the city.

Photo equipment is cheap here so one can buy other accessories, if needed, but it would be ideal to carry a small camera.

Please remember that only small quantities (less than 100mls) of gels, liquids and aerosols can be carried on a plane.
