The Royal Gardens of Herrenhausen is located in Lower Saxony, which is the capital of Hanover. This garden is made up of the Berggarten, the Great Garden, the Welfengarten and the Georgengarten. These world famous baroque gardens of Herrenhausen were created by Sophia who was the Princess Palatine of the Rhine and was also the Electress of Hanover from the period from 1692 to 1714.
