Rathaus is an old Renaissance style town hall situated in Düsseldorf. This is an architectural building which is also a town hall. Rathaus is the town hall which was built in the year 1573. This historic building is situated in the heart of the Old Town on Marktplatz. There is also a bronze equestrian statue of Prince Jan Wellem seated on his horse amidst the square. This statue is known as one of the most beautiful status in the north of the Alps. This is also a popular subject on the postcards in Düsseldorf. This building was rebuilt in 1958 in 18th century blueprints. It looks similar to a baroque building.
