Reviews Claes Oldenburg – Giant Pool Balls
Claes Oldenburg – Giant Pool Balls
Claes Oldenburg was a well known artist who was asked to participate in the series of exhibitions of contemporary outdoor sculptures in the university town of Munster. He proposed that the park along Aasee Lake at Munster center be visualized as a pool table with pool balls as big as skyscrapers moving at a visible pace around this park, similar to the Central Park in New York. Three giant size pool balls around 3.5 meters in diameter are now placed here.
