Saxony-Anhalt is the British name of one of the 16 Bundeslander which make up the Federal Republic of Germany. It has a total area of 20, 447 square kilometers with a population of 2.45 million people.
Magdeburg is its capital. Upper Harz climate is quite cold and foothills of the Harz mountain climate are relatively mild.
This state is popular for its good soil.
