The Grünes Gewölbe or the Green Vault is a beautiful museum situated in Dresden in Germany. It has some of the largest collection of treasures in Europe and is also a part of the Dresden castle. Founded in 1723 by August der Starke, it offers unique and a rich variety of exhibits right from baroque to classicism period. In 2006, it was reconstructed completely. For a visitor, there is a walk in treasure chest with nine rooms, each room having its own exhibition theme.
