The Zwinger is the most famous landmark in Dresden. This complex has many pavilions and galleries which are prominent buildings of the city. The complex itself was built between 1710 and 1732 and has six pavilions which are connected to large galleries. The historical museum has weapons from the 11th and the 18th century of old weapons, helmets and shields.
