Dresden is known as the cultural center that offers good option for nightlife. Semperoper, located on the western region of Theaterplatz, is known to be the most exquisite opera house. The Dresden Philharmonic hosts concerts that are accompanied with the ballet recitals while Staats Operette is known to be the best musical theater with works depicting the era of early 20th century.
