St. Nicholas’ Church was originally constructed in twelfth century. Thereafter, it underwent tremendous alterations with respect to styles. Neo-classical interior seems to be of ‘impressive effect’; with altarpieces and galleries by none other than A.F. Oeser. The height of this tower is 245 feet, i.e. 75 meters. Locally, this church is known as Nikolaikirche.
