The Museum der bildenden Kunste or the Museum of Fine Arts is a museum situated in Leipzig, Saxony. The new renovated museum is designed like a glass cube and is known to have the most impressive art collections in Germany. Spread on 7,000 square meters, the displays include 3,500 paintings, 60,000 graphical works and 1,000 sculptures. The artworks include Late Middle age’s works to modern art works too. Established in 1848, this art museum director is Hans-Werner Schmidt. There are also exhibition that comprises of almost 76 paintings by the Leipzig artist from 1994 to 2010. One worth watching art is the work of Lucas Cranach the Elder, which includes 18th century portraits.
