The Botanical Garden establishment began in 1877 as a medicinal plant garden. During the Second World War, this garden was completely destroyed. However, it began to flourish after 1945 and has over 9,000 plants. This garden allows a visitor semi natural environment of tropical butterflies from South America, Africa and Asia. One can get to see the butterflies develop from the egg stage to the caterpillar stage.
