Being an island, beaches are the main attraction in Folegandros. The beaches of Agios Georgios, Ambeli and Ligaria are close to Ano Meria. Karavostassis also has a beach. Tourists looking for adventure can try camping at Livadi. With its clean blue ocean water, Folegandros was named as one of the top ten beaches in the world by the Travel Channel.
The church of Panaghia, situated atop a hill in Chora, makes for an interesting trip and offers a panoramic view of the village. Also, the Ecological and Folklore Museum of Folegandros situated in the village of Ano Meria must be visited. It offers an interesting insight into the style of living and farming practices of the inhabitants of the island.
