Alonissos hosts a live music concert and a carnival during spring. The carnival is filled with local events like processions, dances, music and religious festivals.
The National Maritime Park of Alonissos is a popular park consisting of six small islands. The area also houses different species of birds, fish, reptiles and mammals, which includes one of the rarest animals in Europe, the Mediterranean Monk Seal.
