Athens becomes alive at night with the music clubs being a part of the Athenian nightlife. Alekos Island is a relaxed bar and is the place for enjoying few drinks and have a lively chat with friends while the multi-ethnic music played at Asante is the prime highlight of the bar. The music and action begins typically at late hours with the guests mostly preferring Afro-Cuban, Indian, Peruvian, and Armenian music. Rakomelo is the best drink available in the town that is prepared with flavored raki liquor dosed with honey. The Jackson Hall is the hip spot that is popular among the young professionals and homesick tourists. Memphis is a club known for the easy-going crowd local rock, dance, and blues music.
