Athens is an ancient city. It is most commonly known for its origin of the world famous Olympic games. The city offers a fine blend of historical architecture and modern structures.

The Lycabettus Hill offers an astonishing view of the city. Tourists can climb up the hill at night and they can get a mesmerizing view of Athens. The hill is also well-known for its historical significance.

Visiting Athens and not seeing the Panathenaic Stadium is something which is not done. This fourth century BC marble stadium served for the original historical Olympics games.
