Tourist Guide Delphi
Delphi is situated on the slopes of Mount Parnassus in Greece and, according to legend, was considered the centre (omphalos) of the world.
The climate is typically Mediterranean, with moderate rainfall. However, due to its mountainous location, it can get colder than in other parts of the region
Delphi is a relatively small town with a population of about 1,500 people. Chrysso, earlier known as Chrissa, forms an important community of the city.
In ancient times, Delphi was a much revered city with a special religious significance. Today, it is a famous tourist destination with a recent increase in the tourism-related business.
