Diakofto, a town and municipality, is in Achaea, Greece; it is situated at the Gulf of Corinth and forms a part of the region of Peloponnese.
The southern part of the town is mountainous with forests dominating the area. Diakofto has a Mediterranean climate with a hot and sunny summer season while winters are mild. The temperature generally varies between 14°C to 24°C in the summers and is approximately 0°C to 2°C in winters.
The municipality of Diakofto includes a number of districts. It is a small village with an approximate population of 7,000. The main occupation of the locals is production of olives, fruit and vegetables, and other crops.
