Tourist Guide Epidauro
Epidauro is a small town in the prefecture of Argolis in Greece. It was built near the ancient site of Epidavros which was located on the Saronic Gulf in old Greece.
Similar to most of the mainland, the climate is Mediterranean. Summers are dry and cloudless while winters can be rainy. September is the ideal time for visiting Epidauro.
The population of the town of Epidauro is undefined, but the municipality of Epidauro has a population of about 4,300.
The town was a tribute to the healing cults of Greek and Roman times, with temples and hospital buildings devoted to its Gods. People from all over the country came here to get their diseases cured.
