There are various sites that can be visited in Kastelorizo such as the Castle of the Knights of the order of St. John that dates back to the fourteenth century and the perfectly preserved Lycean Tomb located underneath the castle at the port.
Palaiokastro is the oldest site in Kastelorizo. It has the remains of ancient buildings, water cisterns and Neolithic tools. Those interested in architecture can also visit the Archaeological Museum.
The most popular of all is the Blue Caves or Parasta Cave which must not be missed. It is one of the rarest and most beautiful geological phenomena of the Mediterranean.
Tourists are offered sailing facilities from the port of Kastelorizo. Also, tourists can go for excursions to nearby islets of Ro and Strogili.
There are several feasts and festivals held every year in Kastelorizo like St. Paraskevi feast held in June and the Assumption of Virgin Mary in August.
