The Kamari Beach serves as the port of the inland village of Kefalos and is situated almost 1 to 2 kilometers to the eastern side of the village, and 38 kilometers from the town of Kos at the south west side. The locals call it Kefalos Beach, after the name of the village, Kafalos. This beach is quite popular and one of the best beaches in Kos.
