Lefkada has an extensive network of buses services which helps in the travel between towns and villages. The KTEL bus service runs frequent services between Lefkas Town and Nidri. 

The bus services to the west coast are less frequent as there is only one bus deployed along that route.

Taxis are an inexpensive way to get around the different regions on this island. The fares are usually cheap and there can be shortage of taxis during night hours. The island also has ferry services that carry car and foot passengers.
