Tourist Guide Leros
Leros is an island in Dodecanese in the Aegean Sea, Greece. It lies between the islands of Patmos and Kalymnos. The capital and the port of the island is the village of Agia Marina. Other important villages of Leros are Platanos and Pandeli.
The island has a lot of greenery. It has a typical Mediterranean Climate, similar to the rest of Dodecanese. The summers are hot and sunny, while winters are mild and rainy. In summer, the average temperature seldom rises beyond 30°C.
The population of Leros is approximately 8,100. This Greek island has recently been opened to tourists. Hence, it lacks general tourist facilities.
