Leros has a 60-km long coastline adorned with several beautiful beaches. These long sandy beaches are peaceful and offer serene and calm beauty. Some of these beaches are Gourna Beach, Blefoutis beach, Koulouki beach and Partheni bay. The Xirokambos beach, Alinda beach and Panteli beach offer resort facilities and the option to engage in some water sports.
There are several churches in Leros which must be visited for their architectural beauty like, the Church of Panagia Kastrou, the Church of Agia Paraskevi etc. The Museum of Beleni Castle is a beautiful mansion that houses the Municipal Library, a part of the Municipal Art Gallery of Leros and a small Folk and Historical Collection.
Leros boasts of some very exciting cultural events for the tourists. The Marine Races in August are an annual event for Leros since 1907. Among the traditional folk festivals, the carnival, the feast of Kleidonas and the Wine Festival are very popular.
