The best time to go to Mykonos is June and September. You can enjoy the boundless beauty of this island at a time when temperatures are already summery but the heat isn't stifling and you don't get the rush of tourists who flock in July and August and prevent you from fully enjoying the beauty of the island.

Go from beach to beach by scooter, it costs little to rent and it's very practical. Stop to eat at kiosks on the beach, it's cheap and fun! The evening stroll around the city and enjoy a drink on the terrace facing the sea. The sunsets on the island are breathtaking and capture your imagination!

June and September are the best times because there are fewer people and the beaches are pleasant. At this time you also get celebrations and the fun is guaranteed. The sea is great, but not only in June and September!

It's really nice, just the different traditional houses are a spectacle. In the right season you can enjoy the hot weather and the beautiful scenery of the typical streets and enjoy traditional local foods, but also find clubs to socialize and meet new people. Beautiful sea.

In early summer you might need a raincoat and an umbrella in your handbag, but the climate is so mild and pleasant in the evening that you mustn't forget to pack a light sweater. If you go in late spring (I mean late April) definitely swim in the sea and don't forget to bring something warm because the evenings are cool.

Always try to eat at good traditional small restaurants. Go with a rental car or bike so you change the beaches and places. The people are willing to talk and give advice, and Italian (to communicate) is fine as well as English. There are well-stocked ceramic shops, with food made from olives, as well as a lot of silver. Happy Holidays.

It's a fabulous island. Don't miss a day/night at Paradise Beach, easily accessed by a frequent bus service. There are many beaches of all types, very beautiful and in many cases not crowded. The town of Mykonos is also very nice, especially in the evening with the incredible entertainment. The best time is definitely the summer.

You get the usual traditional Greek food, but it's still really good, especially the moussaka and the zichichi sauce. If you want to eat well and peacefully you need to move out from the center and go to the hills where you can find the traditional restaurants.

I highly recommend the ferry service that connects the various beaches every day, with a frequent schedule, you get on and off as you wish, it's very fun! There are fewer buses connecting the main town with the outskirts, if they were more frequent in the evening it would be appreciated ;-)

Mykonos offers a beautiful sea with crystal clear water and a multitude of beaches accessible by car or scooter. Of course the choice depends on the type of holiday you prefer: some are overflowing, especially from the afternoon until late at night and transgression is the rule, on other beaches you can have peace and tranquility.

Mykonos is just great! The transportation is great, but I recommend to rent a 4 wheel bike so yo can go to beaches the transportation doesn´t, this way you can know more places and beaches in less time... You definetly got to go to Mykonos, compare with Santorini, is a way better and the beaches are awesome.

Mikonos is characterized by its white houses in contrast to the intensive blue sky and the crystal color of the sea.
The streets and the beaches of Mikonos are crowded with plenty of people, it is seen as the most visited island by summer tourism all over Greece.
Further, on the island you have the possibility to practice all kind of water sports, as snorkeling, diving, water skiing and so on.
The city is characterized by a typical Mediterranean climate with warm and dry summers and mild and rainy winters. In winter the temperature drops down until 2°C or 3°C while in the summer it reaches even 38°C to 40°C.
