Mosque of Suleyman is a well known mosque located in the Greek city of Rhodes. It was constructed in the year 1808 replacing an older mosque that was erected to honor the conqueror of the city, Suleyman the Magnificent.
It is located towards the South of the famous Grand Master's Palace. It is considered as one of the largest mosques of the island, adorned with stunning Renaissance doorway.
The Turkish Library built in 1794 is another important nearby attraction.
