The Acropolis of Rhodes overlooked the western parts of the Rhodes city. This historic site is replete with Sanctuaries and huge temple premises. The Acropolis of Rhodes is considered to be one of the finest specimens of Hellenic style of architecture which blends harmoniously with the surrounding environment. The excavation of this site was during the 1912 to 1945 years. The entire site has to be excavated.
