This is an 11th century BC Dorian settlement and includes remains from Roman, Byzantine and Hellenistic periods. The ancient Thera site has some wide range of vestiges which belongs to historic periods of the Aegean civilization too. one can view the site along with a knowledgeable guide who can guide through out the site. This site is also witness to some amazing festivals like the Terrace festival.
