The White Tower of Thessaloniki is a nice monument and a museum too situated on the waterfront of Thessaloniki city. It became a disreputable prison and mass execution scene when it was constructed by the Ottomans. In 1912, it was remodeled and its exterior was whitewashed after invasion of Greece. At present, the tower is a museum displaying collections of frescoes, sculptures, wall mosaics and many more items.
