Greenland, in simple words, would be a paradise for the nature lovers as well those having an inclination for adventure. The ice-capped mountains, hills, slopes etc. are great for an adventurous trip or simply sitting and enjoying nature.

The National Greenland Museum and Archives is a must-visit for all. This museum was established in the mid-1960s, which makes it one of the first museums in the country. It is a nationally acclaimed museum with a wide collection of antiquities, rare artefacts, handicrafts, paintings and much more. There are quite a few things in the museum that have been brought in from the Danish National Museum.

Greenland houses the northernmost air base of the United States Air Force—the Thule Air Base. It is also the site of Dundas, a former town of Greenland which was shifted later to Qaanaaq. This base has a meagre population of nearly 335 people.
