Most food in Greenland bears a strong similarity to European and American cuisines. Local restaurants mainly serve sea food such as local fish, shrimps, whales, etc. Meat of reindeer and musk ox is also very common. One can very easily find a Thai or a Chinese restaurant in the bigger cities.
Greenlandic coffee is a local speciality which may vary in strength from mild to strong. This coffee is served with liberal amounts of whisky, kahlua or other alcoholic drinks.
