Fishing and fish exports form the backbone of Greenland’s economy with the shrimp fishing industry generating the maximum income for the country. The country has to import machinery, manufactured goods, food and petroleum products.
Greenland on an average is an expensive place for a vacation. Hotels can be found in abundance, and they provide good facilities as well but charge very high prices. It is better to find a hostel. It does not have a rail or a road system. |
