Spring is a good time of the year to visit Greenland when the winters are about to end and there is enough snow for dog sledding and skiing. Summers (mid-July to the first week of September) are however the peak season for touring the country.
Events and Entertainment
Some of the most important public holidays in the country include New Year’s Day (1 January), Epiphany (6 January), Good Friday, Maundy Thursday, National Day (21 June) and so forth. Christmas is a major religious celebration in Greenland. Read more
