The Buda Castle is located in Budapest; Hungary is historical castle of the Hungarian kings. The foundations of the castle date back to the 13th Century. It was first completed in the year 1265. Originally it was called Royal Palace and Royal Castle. During the reign of King Matthias, the castle reached its full stature. This castle is a part of the World Heritage Site and was declared in 1987. The interiors of the palace are decorated lavishly and consist of a Ballroom and a Castle Church. The site also has three museums and is home to the Széchenyi Library. Throughout the ages, the castle survived many battles.
