The House of Parliament in Budapest is known to be the seat of the National Assembly of Hungary and is one of Europe's oldest legislative buildings. A notable landmark of Hungary, it lies in Kossuth Lajos Square, on the bank of the Danube. It is also the largest building in Hungary and the second largest Parliament in Europe. The House was built between the years 1885 and 1902. It stretches to 268 meters in length and is 118 meters wide. It houses more than 20 kilometer staircase and 691 rooms. The dome that crowns the mega structure is 69 meters. It follows the neo-gothic architectural style hinted with Renaissance influence.
