The Museum of Fine Arts is located in the Heroes' Square, Budapest, Hungary. It is one of the most popular tourist attractions of the city. It was constructed between the year 1900 to 1906 in eclectic-neoclassical style by Fülöp Herzog and Albert Schickedanz.
The museum displays a beautiful collection of international art as well as Hungarian art. This includes all the periods of European art. The museum displays over 100,000 pieces. The museum has six departments including the Egyptian, Old sculpture gallery, Antique, Old painter gallery, Graphics collection and the Modern collection.
