Batthyany ter or Batthyany Square is a town square situated in Budapest. Situated on the Buda side of the Danube, opposite to the Hungarian Parliament Building, this square is named after Lajos Batthyany, the first Prime Minister of Hungary. This square is popular for its nearby historic buildings like Szent Anna-templom or the Church of Saint Anne, which is also one of the most beautiful baroque buildings in Budapest.
