Castle Hill is situated in Buda and is on the western side of the Danube River in Budapest. The Castle Hill is known as Varhegy in Hungarian and was first settled in the 13th century after a Mongol attack led the citizens of Buda to seek the neighborhood. The most popular attraction in Castle Hill neighborhood is the Royal Palace.
