With more than 20 million customers annually, the WestEnd City Center in Budapest, Hungary is city’s most popular place to shop. Make no mistake; this shopping center is lavish and decadent. Offering more than 400 stores spread out among three levels, WestEnd City Center has something for everyone.
Half of the shops in WestEnd are fashion stores that carry big name designer clothing, and extravagant jewelry. With a wide variety of leather and shoe stores, it has much to offer in the way of footwear. But wait, there’s more! WestEnd has 40 restaurants and cafés, a 14-screen movie theater, a large videogame arcade, multiple casinos, and (depending on the time of year) a 2,500 square meter rooftop ice skating rink or playground.
In addition, WestEnd City Center offers lodging accommodations, featuring a full-size Hilton hotel. As this place is so large, it can easily feel like a mixture of Disney Land and Las Vegas. For this reason, there are customer service points and touch screen informational terminals throughout the colossal building. WesEnd City Center also has a policy that pregnant women and new mothers receive service priority over all other customers. This means if you are expecting a child, you don’t have to wait in line!
