Hungarian cuisine (Magyar konyha) is prepared using a lot of spices. Goulash, a thick paprika laden stew, is the national food of Hungary. Goose is one of the most popular dishes in this country and is liked by the tourists as well.
There is wide variety of wines and beers available in the country that includes Egri Bikaver (strong red wine) and Tokaj. Coffee is the most widely served non-alcoholic drink.
