A historic place which houses the Royal Inniskilling Fusiliers Museum is the Enniskillen Castle. Built in the fifteenth century, it was used for the defence of the region. The castle was refurbished in the eighteenth century and developed as a tourist attraction with its riverside tower, the Watergate.
The renowned Sheelin Antique Lace Museum houses various exhibits featuring excellent traditional laces for all occasions. The museum also consists of a specialty shop which displays various antique laces and linens of Irish origin.
The Forthill Park and Cole Monument consists of manicured garden areas and a huge monument which is located in the centre. The structure has over a hundred steps which the visitors can climb to reach to the top.
Located in a panoramic Lakeview setting, the Ardhowen Theatre offers year-round entertainment through ballets, operas, plays and concerts. It also features a huge auditorium and a studio theatre.
