It’s an industrial town and it’s famous for fishing. Subsequently, it’s grown thanks to the tourism and the creation of  Keflavik international Airport, where an important military base is situated.

As the most of the towns in Iceland, Keflavik it’s small, people are so friendly and placid; it’s a nice place to visit. As it’s near the sea, it offers a marvellous panoramic view;

If you like mutton, fish (especially salmon) and small poultry, you are in the right place.

Days are mostly cloudy and windy; it’s a humid climate and the average temperature is about 7°C. the wind is very cool.
