If you look for vitality, it’s better to go during University period: city is full of people and it’s vibrant.
Anytime all the year along, in this city are organized festival and concerts. Among the manies are: the Arts festival in July, the six days long Galway Festival Race Meeting, at the end of July and the Oyster Festival from September to October.
The attraction is the zone of the port: you can make a ship tour, visiting what sea-zone offers: secret coves, golden shores and beautiful sunsets.
Most of the pubs have a music session which help to make the evening a beautiful and, why not, unique experience. The city comprises four theatres: one performs in Gaelic. It’s the centre of the world famous Macnas Street. Theatre.
