The most famous attraction in the town is the Ulster American Folk Park which is an open-air museum. The themed place has exhibitions on arts and crafts, spinning, printing, cooking etc. Also, many events and festivals are held here.

The Grange Park consists of playgrounds and nature walks. The park is popular as a meeting spot as well as a picnic area. It witnesses heavy tourist traffic during the summer months. Featuring spectacular scenery is the recreational forest area, the Forest Drive, with lush vegetation.

The cultural heritage of the region is captured in the various song, music and literary events like the Appalachian and Bluegrass Music Festival, the Mid-Summer Carnival and the Omagh and District Arts Festival.

The Sperrin Heritage Centre is an enthralling sight which offers numerous exhibitions featuring the history, culture and wildlife of the region. The centre also consists of a cafeteria, an arts shop and nature trails.
